The client wanted an extremely modern aesthetic brought into their older home that was full of family history. They did not want a minimalist design, per se, but needed clean, contemporary lines, a bright and open atmosphere, and lots of windows to showcase the view.

This fostered a second challenge: helping the client visualize how the desired ultra-modern aesthetic would be incorporated into the older, existing home. It sometimes took a couple attempts, but eventually, the design team was able to help the client envision the open plan and modern design and “see” a final result during the build phase.
